Thanks to the 15 volunteers that came out to show our park love. A special shout out to our newest members and new neighbors - Hannah and Tyler - who have already made 2 clean-ups!
Thanks to @davinciartalliance , another successful park cleanup is in the books!
Educational Children's workshop at Palumbo Park on Saturday by @davinciartalliance
As you've probably already noticed, there's an installation going up in the park! The art is by Sarah Peoples, who is a sculpture artist working in #publicspaces and also lives in the neighborhood!
Before it was a park! Pictured is the Thomas B. Florence School. April 4th, 1906. Thanks in large part to Samuel Fleisher’s efforts, it became Florence Park, later re-dedicated as our beloved Palumbo Park! #historicphiladelphia
