In 2016, a major renovations led by Philadelphia Parks and Recreation provided new ground surfacing, seating, plants, irrigation, lighting, and an ADA-accessible entrance.
The group is now working with the city to replant areas that have since lost most of their plants, as well as install protective fencing in order to better mark off the planted area as being off-limits to visitors.
